TJMS Announces Weekly Hercules Scholar for Grambling State University

It’s official.  Tom Joyner announced the first of four weekly Hercules Scholars for Grambling State University, the Tom Joyner Foundation (TJF) September 2013 School of the Month.

His name?  Pierre L. Moore.

A native of  Kansas City, MO, Mr. Moore is an Engineering Technology major with a 3.66 GPA.

While aspiring to be an architectural or civil engineer, Pierre finds time to be a CMAST (Center for Mathematical Achievement in Science and Technology) scholar and an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers where he seeks experiences that will enhance his knowledge.

According to our weekly scholar, he is committed to working hard and meeting challenges that present themselves, mainly because he has learned the benefits of not shying from hard work from both his parents, his role models!!!
