Collie J. Nicholson Chapter salutes scholarship recipient Cristian Berry on becoming member of Omega Psi Phi


Congratulations to Collie J. Nicholson’s scholarship recipient, Cristian Berry who recently became a member of the Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated at Grambling State University. Cristian is the proud son of Collie J. Nicholson chapter member, Curt Berry who also is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

Cristian continues to invest in himself, in his academics, and in personal development. Cristian is a consistent student leader as he has diligently served on the Student Government Association Board as Sophomore Associate Justice during his first year at Grambling State University and is a dedicated student-athlete that puts a focus on his studies as evidenced with a 3.4 GPA.

Cristian is studying Cybersecurity with plans to explore entrepreneurship post-graduation starting his own Cybersecurity Business.

Cristian has not wavered from being a servant leader as he is involved in community service programs within the DFW Metroplex volunteering his time to feeding the homeless at local shelters and supporting the annual United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots Christmas donation for underserved children. Post COVID-19, Christian has plans to start a STEM Mentoring program in the Grambling area once the pandemic is controlled.

Cristian has the eagerness to accomplish and supersede expectations within his reach and has demonstrated outstanding success in building sustainable relationships.
