The members of the Collie J. Nicholson Chapter are taking high school students to Grambling State University on Saturday, October 26th. Each year, the University hosts this event to invite high school students from around the country to visit the campus and get a glimpse at college life. The activities for the day include a campus tour, academic and departmental preview, performances by the “World Famed” Tiger Marching Band and “National Award Winning” cheerleaders, Orchesis Dance Company, Black Dynasty – modeling group, and Greek organizations and the day ends with the G-Men against Texas Southern University in a friendly game of football.
Until October 4th, the cost is $50.00 for students and parents, and includes the High School Day program, round trip transportation and lunch. A limited number of t-shirts will be available so register early. After October 10th, the cost increases to $60.00. Online registration begins September 13th.
