School Daze! – Preserving the Legacy of Our HBCUs / Educating Our Future
The Collie J. Nicholson Chapter of Grambling University National Alumni Association operates as a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 organization where the general purpose is to raise funds for educational programs and scholarships. Our chapter continuously reinvest in the community through the following initiatives:
- Annual scholarship to eligible Dallas residents of Grambling State University
- Annual World AIDs Day Toy Drive benefitting children of Bryan’s House who are affected with HIV/AIDs
- Annual Sons and Daughters Reception benefiting the Dallas Residents who attend Grambling State University
As an HBCU Alumni Organization, we thought you would be interested in our continuous efforts in promoting academic excellence as we strive to increase the number of incoming freshmen and graduating seniors at our institutions of higher learning.
We would like to invite your Alumni Chapter to support our fundraising efforts in attending a skating event, “School Daze! – Preserving the Legacy of Our HBCUs / Educating Our Future” that will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Dad’s Broadway Skateland located at 3022 Moon Drive, Mesquite, TX 75150. We will publicize this event and will be happy to recognize your Alumni Chapter in our promotional materials, include your Alumni Chapter in our reports, and publicize your Alumni Chapter through other communications to the public. Your Alumni Organization may bring school paraphernalia to represent your HBCU.
The cost of the event is $10.00 in which you may prepay for the event or you may pay at the door at the day of the event.
